Urban City Sports
We're not just another sports media outlet. We're the voice for HBCU athletics, African American sports culture, and the fans who deserve better coverage.
Our Mission
Authentic Coverage
Real stories, real voices, real perspectives. We tell it like it is, no sugarcoating.
HBCU Excellence
Shining a spotlight on the athletes and programs that deserve national recognition.
Community First
Building a community of fans who celebrate the culture and the competition.
Our Story
Urban City Sports was born out of frustration. Frustration with mainstream sports media that overlooks HBCU athletics. Frustration with betting platforms that don't understand the nuances of the games we love. Frustration with content that doesn't reflect the passion and culture of African American sports fans.
So we built something different. A platform that celebrates HBCU excellence. That provides expert betting analysis with an urban edge. That tells the stories mainstream media ignores.
From Coach Prime's impact at Jackson State to Howard's basketball program making noise on the national stage, we're here to document the renaissance of HBCU athletics. We're here to provide picks that hit. We're here to keep it 100, always.
This is more than sports coverage. This is a movement. And you're part of it.
